Writer, editor and storyteller based in Washington, D.C., and regular columnist at DIYMFA.com whose fiction works are housed mainly in the speculative genre. Currently working on her first novel project that explores, through the lens of a failing utopia, what happens when society gives in to its fear of the other. In the fall of 2016, she was one of 16 selected to participate in the Jenny McKean Moore Free Community Workshop at the George Washington University, and entered her first flash fiction competition with NYC Midnight in late 2017, advancing to the third round.
She has drafted and edited sponsored and organic content for top-tier academic institutions, Fortune 500 companies and leading philanthropic organizations that has run in The Washington Post, USA Today and the Atlantic. In the past three years, she has worked on two academic institution website launches, drafted major content for the president and CEO of a youth sports foundation, and regularly drafted profiles for an association's certification campaign.
